Mechanism:
Several microphones and transducers are placed throughout the venue, and all of these devices are connected to a computer. All sounds which occur during the project term will be recorded, and at chosen times the recordings will be played back through the transducers, sending vibrations through cardboard in the venue to replay the sounds.

The sound of nature contains music. "ubiquitous music" is a project to extract music from within the sounds of nature. This sound installation will, during the project term, assemble the sounds that can be heard in the venue and courtyard, and realign them in terms of time and space. All sounds emitted during the project term in the venue and courtyard will be archived(7 days x 24 hours + 6 hours = 174 hours), and when inside or outside the venue, sounds from the same time of day, perhaps 24 hours ago, or 1 week ago, will be played back. By listening to this past archival of sound together with the current sound audible at the venue, the listener can hear - in terms of space and time, either a condensed or expanded auditory experience.
自然の音は音楽を内包している。ubiquitous musicは、自然の音の中から音楽を引き出すための作品である。 会期中に会場内および会場の庭で聴こえる音を、 時間的・空間的に並び替えるサウンドインスタレーション作品です。 会期中に会場及び会場の庭に発生する音をすべてアーカイブし（7日×24時間+6時間=174時間）、会場内および外で、たとえば、24時間前、１週間前の同じ時間の音が再生され、今現在の会場の音と共に聴くことで、空間的・時間的に圧縮または拡張された音を体験することができる。
